Privacy Policy

Kotobox (“the game”) does not ask you for an account, name, email or phone number. Your progress (runs, records, settings) is saved only on your device and is deleted when you delete the game.
Advertising
The game shows ads through Google AdMob. Some ads are optional: you choose to watch them for a bonus (a second chance, double coins, a free shop refresh). Sometimes a short ad is shown between orders.
To show and measure ads, Google may collect:
- a device identifier (the Apple advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking, and an identifier for this app);
- an approximate location based on your IP address;
- information about ads you see and tap, and how you use the game;
- diagnostic data such as crashes and performance.
Before ads are loaded the game asks for your consent where the law requires it (for example in the EU and the UK), and iOS asks whether the game may track you. You can say no: the game works the same, ads are just less personalized. You can change tracking at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and change ad consent in the game under Settings → Privacy & ads (shown where required).

Your rights (EU, UK, California)
We do not run our own servers and do not store personal data about you. Everything the game keeps stays on your device. Ad data is processed by Google; under the GDPR and the CCPA you can change or withdraw ad consent in the game (Settings → Privacy & ads), limit tracking in iOS Settings, or contact Google about the data it holds.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages.
The game does not use your contacts, photos, camera or microphone, and does not sell your data.
